  • Bill Scott

    He grew up in West Tennessee where he attended Henery County High School. After High School, he attended Freed-Hardeman University and the University of Tennessee where he graduated with his degree in Civil Engineering. Bill served as an engineer with the US Navy civil engineer corp during the Vietnam era. He also worked in project management and construction and retired after 35 years in the workforce. 

    Bill, holds his privet and commercial pilot license and enjoys hunting, working outdoors and fixing street rods.  Bill and his wife Linda have a son and daughter as well as six grand children. He has been involved in missions work to Africa, Canada, and Honduras as well as teaching Bible Class for over fifty years.

  • Leon Smith

    Leon is a native of Alabama.  His family moved to Tennessee when he was 10 years old so his father could work in Oak Ridge.  He attended electronic and drafting school in Atlanta, GA and returned home to be employed by a company selling and servicing copy machines.  Leon later became a business owner and owned his own company until his retirement in 2004.  He and his wife Nancy where married in 1967.  They moved to Kingston in 1976.  Leon and Nancy had two daughters, Leigh Anne, who works at the UT Eye Center, and their second daughter Kristen, who is deceased.  Prior to being an Elder at Kingston Church of Christ Leon served as a Deacon and Elder at the Roane Church of Christ.
