  • Breaking Chains, HONDURAS

Breaking Chains was established in January 2009 as a way to reach out to the marginalized, street population in the capital city of Honduras. The ministry’s mission is to serve and seek change for those affected by urban poverty in Tegucigalpa by meeting basic needs and developing relationships that act as a gateway toward a relationship with Christ.

  • Nairobi Church of Christ, Kenya

Nairobi Church of Christ in Eastleigh was established by Missionaries Berkeley and Charlotte Hackett in 1988.  Since that time the church has established and supported many evangelistic works and ministries.  1989 a technical college was established called Kenya Christian Training Institute in order to help teach young adults from lower income communities trades and job skills to help them find work that would provide them an income for themselves and their families. In 1996 the Hackett's helped establish a preaching school on the campus that would train and provide ministers for East Africa.  The preaching school is the Institute for Practical Christian Ministry.  Our minister Jon Hackett has been directly involved with the work in Kenya since 1993 and is a member of the Board of Governors for the campus.  Jon continues to work and take groups to Kenya.
